Here it is the “Monday Chart”, what is it? Nothing, simply ten songs selected and commented by the artist of the week. This week I will be the first one who starts with this work, who will be the next?

1. Ifan Dafydd – No Good [ Unknown label 12" ]

Comincio con “No good” , prima release firmata da Ifan Dafydd. Il vocal di Amy Winehouse pitchato e quel chord “stonato” lasciano spazio ad un ascolto rilassato. Penso che questo producer abbia ottime capacità compositive e qualità per riuscire ad “uscire dall’ombra”.

I start with “No good”, first release signed by Ifan Dafydd. The pitched vocal of Amy Winehouse and the “out of tune” chord , leave place to a relaxed listening. I think that this producer has excellent compositional capacities and qualities to come out of the shadows.

Semplicemente un capolavoro.

Simply a masterpiece.

7. Rustie – Hover Traps [ Warp ]

Glass Swords , primo vero e proprio album per Rustie , e devo dire che non mi ha deluso per nulla, anzi. Hover Traps ne è una prova. L’intro supa funky con questo basso slap con al seguito melodie super happy. Una delle mie tracce preferite negli ultimi mesi.

Glass Swords, first album for Rustie, really satisfied me. Hover Traps is a proof. The intro super funky with this slap bass, followed by happy melodies. One of my favourite tune in this last period.

8. DotVibes – Ex Factor [ unknown ]

Cover di L. Hill fatta dai DotVibes , reinterpretazione in chiave reggae eseguita a modino. Big up ad Estel Luz perchè oltre che avere una voce splendida è una persona più belle che abbia conosciuto.

Ospite al Back to Clubbing poche settimane fa grazie a Dub zoo crew , merita molto il ragazzo.
