
We proudly open with the notice about a great double dayed evnt. Probably one of the most talked about through the various pr and organizzation. On 24 and 25 September 2010, the Lanificio 159 club and cultural center of the most interesting and active in recent years, will host the third and highly anticipated edition of This Is Rome. The project, conceived by Snob Production, collects all the best of the creative scene in the Capitol just two days, drawing the map of what is happening in the city in terms of graphic arts, music and audiovisual experimentation.
Many innovations in this third edition, reflecting the richness of the creative scene, a cultural fabric that can be continually renewed, maintaining the level of supply always very high. These realities, the crew involved in this edition of This Is Rome: 24Caratt, Aphrodisias, Amygdala, Discoloosers, Exe-Cute, Female Cut, Keep It Yours, La Roboterie, Mafalda Crew, Nocontroles, One Love, Paris Rockin ‘, Soundgate .
The best dj in Rome, each with its own particular style, with genres ranging in all directions: funk, indie, house, electro, reggae, d’n'b, new sounds from Africa and so on …
It also represented a number of clubs in which these crews work steadily through the year: Angelo Mai, Brancaleone, Circolo Degli Artisti,Dell Verme, Dimmi, Rising Love …
Snob Productions has once again given the collective Quiet Ensemble, former player at the recent festival in the Auditorium at MIT for which he has been lights and facilities, the video portion of this edition of This is Rome, with live performances and site-specific projects unpublished.
This is Rome is only part of the broader project This Is My City, a network composed of events taking place in some of the most important and lively Italian cities, to tell the whole current status of the new independent creativity and club culture the country. The next stop will be in Bologna on November 20.
Each year, the whole project will take a snapshot of a fuzzy entity elusive, ever-evolving. With an ever competitive and inclusive spirit, This Is My City try to tell these movements in fact, transfers of references and trends. Is not a prize, but simply a party that celebrates the city itself.
